Myth – Flossing is not important
It is absolutely not correct that flossing is not important. The truth is that It IS important to gently floss at least once a day to maintain optimum oral health.
All teeth have five surfaces and two of those surfaces are in contact with adjacent teeth that toothbrushes cannot clean in-between. The good news is that floss can slide between these two teeth and clean these surfaces. Without cleaning these surfaces, you may have problems that lead to tooth decay and gum problems.
