After completing his B.S. in Zoology at Brigham Young University, Dr. Marshall earned his DDS from the University of Maryland.

In 2005 Dr. Marshall was published in the Journal of American Dentistry and General Dentistry after completing research in dental biomaterials studying bond strength and microleakage.
In 2007, Dr. Marshall was trained by the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry to perform the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP). He is among the first of a growing number of dentists in the country to provide this breakthrough laser treatment for treating periodontal disease.
Dr. Marshall graduated from Progressive Orthodontics in 2015, with Highest Honors, after completing two years of continuing education in orthodontics.
In 2016, Dr. Marshall was awarded his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, joining less than 7% of general dentists in achieving this honor.
He enjoys being with his family, the outdoors and loves to surf and compete in the sport of triathlon.
