PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization. Our doctors work with insurance companies to accept lower fees for services. This collaboration allows us to provide quality dental care at reduced costs for our patients.
Why aren’t you a PPO provider for all insurance plans?
Unfortunately, not all insurance companies prioritize the best interests of the patient. At Springville Dentistry, we maintain the highest standards of care and guarantee our work, which requires us to use quality materials. While we strive to collaborate with as many insurance plans as possible, some of them may choose to not cover the cost of these materials.
Does my insurance company compensate the dentist for joining their plan?
No, in Utah, the insurance companies receive the benefits of the PPO contracts. Despite this, we choose to contract with dental insurances to provide our patients with the best dental care possible, even if it means lower reimbursement rates for us.
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
Not having dental insurance shouldn’t prevent you from becoming a patient at Springville Dentistry. We understand that dental coverage isn’t suitable for everyone, so we have created our In-House Dental Plan. This plan offers discounts on dental services and ensures you receive the care you and your family members deserve.
What if I have two insurance plans?
If you have dual insurance coverage, the primary insurance is typically determined by the “birthday rule” in the United States.
